Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Seasons Past ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
Description of Service
Seasons Past is a free, open-source application for tracking Magic: The Gathering Commander gameplay. The App allows you to:
- Track and manage your Commander decks
- Log game results and history
- View statistics and analytics
- Use a life counter during games
- Optionally sync data across devices via cloud storage
User Accounts
You may use the App without creating an account. If you choose to sign in with Google:
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You must provide accurate information
- You may delete your account and data at any time
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Use automated systems to access the App in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code (note: the App is open source under MIT License)
Intellectual Property
Our Code: Seasons Past is open-source software released under the MIT License. You are free to use, modify, and distribute the code in accordance with that license.
Magic: The Gathering: Magic: The Gathering, Commander, and all related content are trademarks of Wizards of the Coast LLC. Seasons Past is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Fan Content Policy and is not approved or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast.
Card Images: Card images and data are provided by Scryfall and are used in accordance with their terms of use.
Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you enter into the App, including deck information, game history, and statistics. You may export or delete your data at any time.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee that:
- The App will be available at all times
- The App will be error-free
- Data will never be lost (please maintain your own backups)
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seasons Past and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, arising from your use of the App.
Service Modifications
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue the App at any time
- Update these Terms of Service
- Limit or restrict access to certain features
We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
